Crawled out of bed at an unearthly time of 9.15am on a Sunday morning as I was going to meet with my IA gang for abuffet treat. Everyone skipped breakfast just to save every inch of our stomach for the dim sum. We ordered so much that a 10-seater table was piled with loads of food although there are only 5 of us. Xj could not make on time due to church commitments in the morning. The food was good. I love the ha gao best! Each piece is generously stuffed with 2 fresh juicy prawns. Yummy! The chicken herbal soup is very rich. We eat till our hearts content! The restaurant is big. Looks like a big ballroom with many crystal lights hanging down from the high ceiling. There are several doors to a large balcony which oversees Sentosa island. Star Virgo so happened to anchor nearby and we could have a good view of it. We started to fantasize going on a holiday together on one of the star cruises. Although I been on Star Aquarius for cruise to Penang many years ago during my secondary school days, but I reckon it will definitely be a whole different experience which friends. I bet it will be much more happening with the IA ppl. BUT…. I’m still on probation. It wont reflect well on me if I apply leave when I just started working a month ago. Perhaps a short wk end to Batam with them?
Xj rushed down from church service to meet us after brunch. We then proceeded for a coffee session at TCC. As ususal, I need to get my regular dosage of desserts. We had rum and chocolate cake. It wasn’t as rich and gd as I thought it should be.
